To summarize, here is how the problems occurred over time.
About 9 or 10 months ago, after an update of the CC desktop app, it was no longer possible to organize my fonts. At that time when activating a font from the website fonts.adobe, I could still use it in InDesign.

Hi @Tarun Saini,
Our business has 15+ Windows devices that we're forced to run Creative Cloud Desktop version 5.5.0.617 on. At some stage in the last 2-4 weeks Adobe Fonts via Creative Cloud has stopped working. That section of the app isn't loading at all, or we're seeing 'Loading Adobe Fonts...' with a spinning wheel - see attached AdobeFonts.png.
I see that @Pierrick24517231emge is also having this issue, along with people on this forum post:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-fonts-discussions/are-fonts-down/td-p/14814250
So this issue isn't isolated to a particular device or customer. It would seem that Adobe has changed something at their end in the past 2-4 weeks to break this for a number of their customers, can this change be reverted with urgency?
Regards,
Alex

So, yesterday I contacted Adobe and a technician confirmed via remote control access to my computer that font management was no longer workingaat all.
I had no choice, so today I was forced to update Windows from Win10 enterprise LTSC 1809 to Win10 enterprise LTSC 21H2. By doing this upgrade, I now have the latest version of the CC desktop app and everything works normally.
