Is there a way to reinstall fonts en masse? Or disable this "feature"?
This article, subheading How to reinstall your active fonts that are no longer in use is not helpful.
This should be considered a bug as it is extremely prohibitive to workflow and wastes hours of time.

Hi ADOBrien1504,
We are sorry for the delay in response, and we understand your concern regarding this issue. I wanted to inform you that our team is working on this request on the backend to improve this experience.
For now, you can try activating the font from the font's website and see if that helps.
We'll update you as soon as we hear any updates from the team.
Thanks,
Harshika

Thanks. Hopefully this is fixed in a future update.
Realistically, this shouldn't even be a function. Fonts shouldn't be automatically disabled in the first place.

Any update on changing or fixing this "feature"?
Having to reinstall fonts I have been actively using is a giant waste of time.

Going through and wasting hours of time to manually disable and re-enable my entire library of fonts again.

Thanks for continuing to follow up. I checked with our developers and we are still investigating alternative ways to handle this but fonts that haven't been used for over 150 days are deactivated for performance reasons. Sorry for the frustration, not sure when or even if this will change but we'll follow up if we hear of any new related developments.

Thank you for following up but this continues to be a thorn in my side. Every couple months I need to go through and manually disable and re-enable hundreds of fonts, even ones that are actively in use.
Any help as to how to disable this would be amazing.

Would be nice if this was a feature that was actively investigated.
I don't want Adobe managing fonts. This is a terrible bug or even worse feature.
