Upgraded Media Encoder beta and all my presets are gone. Why does this stuff keep happening? Why can't Adobe make an update that doesn't wipe everything out?????

No offense, as I'm unable to look at it right now, but why on earth would I change these settings? I have never touched these settings, thus whatever they are they are exactly what your team set them to be when it updates. My presets were gone and I ultimately had to go find them on my own and move them over on my own. Don't pin this on me.

Hey, sorry to hear you have such bad experiences with AME beta. I don't pin this to you, but try to understand what happened in your case, since AME should keep user settings when doing updates. Where were your custom presets stored before they were deleted? The default path (on Mac) is:
What OS are you seeing that problem with? What version did you update from? Please note, that AME Beta doesn't fetch the presets from the released version. They are kept in seperate folders.

I have looked all over my Creative Cloud App and cannot find these checkmarks/advanced options anywhere in updates or preferences, are they different on various platforms? I am on a Macbook Pro 16 M1 Max completely topped off running latest stable Monterey. I found my presets at that same path you mention and moved them manually from 23 to 24, there was no option on startup with the first launch of the updated app to move my presets.
