Hi, I recently upgraded to windows 11 and Adobe Premiere Pro or Encoder does not run.  I try to uninstall and reinstall from cloud desktop but it's still the issue.  I'm running nvidia 3070Ti video card, I7-8086k cpu@4.0Ghz with 32GB of ram.  System is running from m2 SSD drive.  All my apps are super fast and nothing freezes other then Adobe Premiere/Encoder.  Please advice what to try.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

We're sorry to hear about this. Please check if any crash log is generated on the system. If you find one, share a download link for the log file. It will help us to diagnose the issue properly. Also, have you installed any third-party plugins?

Thanks,

Sumeet

Thanks for fast response, I check and there is no crash log created.  I had premiere version 15 before and there is crash log created but it's from 2 months ago that is not relevent.  In the 22.0 log folder (my installed version now) there are not crash logs generated.

Adobe Premiere and encoder hangs right away on the splash screen.  It just shows the splash screen cover art, when I click on it windows says program not responding, do I want to close the program or wait for the program to respond.  I waited yesterday 30min and nothing happened.  Let me know what else to try.

Thank you,

David

Thanks for the details, David. Is it getting stuck on the splash screen while loading any specific component? Also, please navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore & check if there are any third-party plugins in the MediaCore folder. If you find any plugin, temporarily move it to a folder on the desktop & then check if the apps are launching properly.

Thanks,

Sumeet
