Encoder won't launch, 205???

New Here ,
Aug 27, 2021 Aug 27, 2021

When I go to open Encoder it tells me

"Sorry, Media Encoder has encountered an error and needs to close.
You will not be able to use Media Encoder at this time. Please contact Customer Support and use the reference code 205 for more information on how to resolve this issue."

Then I quit the media encoder, I've uninstalled, reinstalled, even updated since having this issue, I've even downgraded it and still it never works. I disabled my AVG Internet Security and all. I am not sure what to do...

I ran into this issue recently and absolutely banged my head against the wall. Customer Support didn't help either. Try logging out of your Adobe CC account through the Adobe Creative Cloud app and logging back in. It may seem silly, but it fixed the "error 205" issue on my end. I found this fix through a similar Photoshop error.

I was dealing with this issue and felt stuck but what I did that worked instead of just signing out of the app itself was I went to the adobe website and signed out of all sessions then signed back into the app and everything works again.

This worked for me. Just logged out of the Adobe Creative Cloud app and logged back in and AME started with no issues.

Yes, this also worked for me. Signed out of CC and then signed back in.
