How To Empty Queue?

For some reason, I have an untold number of files in my Media Encoder queue.

I can't seem to delete them (select all - delete key) and I just keep getting Not Responding.

Is there a way to start the program, clean, or force empty the queue?

At this point, I can't use Media Encoder at all.

I would try trashing your preferences, or possibly better, uninstalling AME (and choosing not to keep your prefs) and reinstalling it.

In preferences do you have "Remove completed files from queue on exit" checked?Preferences.jpg

I do, but the files never completed (not sure they ever started).

For some reason, Remove was greyed out when I selected all the files.

I found that I could remove one at a time and then a whole screen-full at a time.

Eventually, I got them all removed.

There must have been thousands of files in the queue and most just said Ready.

It was so laggy that it would say Not Responding for every action (click File - Not Responding, go to view - Not Responding, etc...).

Things seem fine, now that the queue is empty.

I'm not sure if this would work, but it seems like I should be able to delete Documents - Adobe - Adobe Media Encoder or user - AppData - Roaming - Adobe - Adobe Media Encoder, but it's untested.

It took me a second but I had this problem today too.  Queue is actually a window.  So If your not seeing your projects that you wish to delete, go up to the top, next to file select window, select Queue.  Then you can see and delete.
