I can't open Media Encoder "Error Loading Sapphire Bundle"

Community Beginner ,

I've never used Media Encoder on this computer, infact I just installed it a few weeks ago. To my knowledge I don't have any plugins installed (as I don't really use Adobe apps that often anyways). I already tried a reinstall with no avail. Please help thanks

I had the same problem I deleted the third party plugins which was located /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore here. now it is working.

Try to copy the line and paste it on go to the folder comment in finder window.

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

I hope that works for you too.

Hi there,

This does not sound ideal.

You can check the list of the plug-ins installed here: /library/application support/adobe/common/plug-ins/7.0/Media Core

Please test the issue after disabling the plugins installed. You can disable them by moving the Media Core folder to other location.

Let us know the outcome.

Regards,

Shivangi

When I tried going to that location I get stuck here. There's no "plug-ins" folder.

Oh so it wasn't in the user's Library. I now deleted it, and it seems to be working now! Thanks

Hi yousif_7816,

Are you getting any errors related to third-party plugins? If so, you can find them using the path mentioned above under the system library. The screenshot that you shared is of the user library. Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Sumeet

To access the system library, you may open Finder, click Go > Go to Folder, and enter /Library.

Note: Please exercise caution when navigating through the system library, as inadvertent changes may lead to unexpected behaviour.

Thanks.

Sumeet

When I open the library, it sends me to the user library. How do I get to the system library?
