Media Encoder - Default video duration when encoding image files to video

When batch encoding images into video files, the default duration is five seconds. Is there a way to change the default duration duration of still images, like you can in Premiere?

Hello PeakRaad, no, currently this is not possible. The only way to change the time is to set custom in/out points in the Export Settings Dialog to reduce it from 5 sec. If you have an image sequence, each image will be handled as one frame.

Can this please be added? For live events media server workflows we often need single frame video files.

Are you kidding me? I have 2 sequences of 1320 pngs that need to each be 1 frame in duration. Media Encoder won't even show me all the files to allow me to do that, it says "too many files to show". Is there any way to automate this at least?? I would think that Adobe would have added way to change the png duration in the "stitch clips" function in ME a long time ago, it's really a common sense kind of a thing. Nobody who uses ME wants to ALWAYS stitch clips at 5 secs each. In fact, it should default to 1 frame duration when stitching clips together using that function. That would be more user friendly, I think.

Not sure if I am understanding this correctly. Sounds like you are trying to convert a PNG image seuqence. Did you try to import the image sequence as a PNG image sequence?
