Multiple fails

I have tried various output presets, but the AE file I am trying to render keeps failing. I need an alpha chanel. Here's the error:

We're sorry about this. Please share a screenshot of the Export Settings that you have used. Also, have you tried switching the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only & checked if it's exporting properly?

Have you tried using the After Effects Render Queue?  That should get you a movie file with an alpha that you can used while circling back to why it's failing in Adobe Media Encoder is failing.  If you have not done this before, choose the "Lossless with Alpha" Output Module template and then change the CODEC from Animation to Apple ProRes 4444.  Double-check that the Output Module shows that you're getting RGB+Alpha for the Channels.

 

If this fails at about the same time, then you know that the cause of your crash is most likely source footage or an effect at that time in the AE Composition.

 

Hopuflly the render will complete as expected.
