Adobe Podcast weirdness

New Here ,

Hey all

I use and absolutely love Adobe Podcast but today I came across a bit of weirdness.

I've been editing interview style podcast episodes and I usually marge the two speakers then feel the result into Adobe Podcast. Great, fantastic, no issues.

Today, I fed the individual speaker video files in seperately. Because it's an interview, there are long periods of silence as the person is listening to what the other is saying. Once processed, I was finding there were random voices being inserted at low volume levels into the silence parts.

Think about years ago when most of the radio stations were broadcast as AM. You've be driving, listening to music on a station and suddenly, a random word or noise would come through the car speakers because another radio station bled into the one you were listening. That's kind of what was happening with the processed file. i mean, one instance, I'm sure said "f*** you". Quite funny but increased the amount of work I had to do!

Really really weird! Has anyone else noticed this happening? Are Adobe aware of this?

I've attached a sample. This is pourely generated by Adobe Podcast AI. It was during a silent part of the person speaking while she's listening to the host. It's not on the original.

Thanks

Daz

Bit awkward, this. We are the Audition forum, and as such have no real experience of Adobe podcast. But almost in the same breath I have to say that there's nowhere else on the Adobe forums that's appropriate to place your post that I can see, so I'm not quite sure what you should do. Not only that, but I think it's very unlikely that whoever is responsible for Podcast is going to pick it up here, even with that title - although usually when I say things like this I'm promptly proved wrong... here's hoping.

I started noticing the same thing very recently.  I am only feeding it my speech but there are random words and some almost sci-fi alien chatter being introduced.

Hi @Darrend, Harmony here from the Adobe Podcast team 👋

This definitely isn't expected behavior, and I haven't seen this issue come up before. Did this only happen on this one particular project? Or has it persisted? If it's persisting, please let me know and I will open up a ticket with our engineering team. Thanks so much!

Hi @Soanne_Cq7274, I appreciate you following up on this! Is this only happening on a particular project or multiple projects? Is it only happening after using Enhance speech? If you can share a link to your project that will help us troubleshoot. Feel free to send it to teampodcast@adobe.com and I'll be happy to help!
