I’m having trouble with the Adobe Scan app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max — all my scans are coming out extremely blurry. The camera itself works perfectly fine in other apps, so it seems to be an issue specific to Adobe Scan.
When I used the same app on my previous iPhone 12, the scans were always sharp and crystal clear. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the iPhone 15? Is there a fix or update that might solve it?
Thanks in advance!

@ambitious_Zephyr8148 you're not alone. It's because of the advanced camera system in the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, which has a different minimum focus distance compared to older models like the iPhone 12. The work-around is hold it further away from the object to achieve focus because of the larger sensor and main lens on the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max. If you hold it too close, the image will be blurry. Or, manually force the iPhone to switch to the Ultra Wide lens (which has a closer focus capability) by slightly zooming in within the Adobe Scan app which forces the camera to switch lenses, engaging the Ultra Wide lens for macro-like focusing, which should make the scan sharp. Once the image is sharp, tap for the scan.

Thanks a lot for the explanation and the tip. I’ll try holding it further away and see if switching lenses helps 🙂
