Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.
Would you mind letting us know which mode you use to take the pictures in Adobe Scan? Also, checking if the smart focus is enabled would help better too.
Also, if you see issues with the quality of the text, you might want to disable Auto OCR from preferences. You can go to Profile-> Preferences-> disable the option "Run Text Recognition".

I generally use Document mode. I have also disabled the option OCR, but still with latest update that I got just 10 minutes back, situation is still the same. Please help me.
