Hello I am having exactly the same problem. I am worried about my installing app and losing contents of scans as some important documents. Silly question if so uninstall will all documents remain? Thank you

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Adobe Scan.
Logging out and logging in should not result in any loss of documents if you are logged in using the same account.
I would highly suggest checking in for any unsaved file and ensuring they are saved to the cloud to prevent any chances of files getting lost.

1. The app version of Adobe Scan you use (go to Home-> Profile-> About Adobe Scan);
2. The iOS version of your device;
3. A screen recording video of the entire event for better understanding.
