I volunteer at the nearby hospital ( in the anesthesia department ), helping with inventory. One task involves checking the expiration dates
on one use pieces of equipment. Currently I do this by hand ( eye ), searching for the date, then determining if the piece has expired or will
expire in the near future. Many pieces already have QR codes on them and I have the feeling the expiration date is coded within. If I can show
the boss that this works with the scan, perhaps we can save some money by staying current on the inventory and eliminating human error.
thank you kindly
Hi Hbarrym,
If you are looking for the QR scanner, sorry to inform you that Adobe Scan cannot read the QR codes.
Adobe Scan can simply scan anything and convert images into Adobe PDF's.
It can scan the QR code, however, cannot read it.
For more information on Adobe Scan, you can refer this help document Adobe Scan FAQ.
Hope that the information helps.
