1. I use adobe scan to create a pdf

2. i want to encrypt the pdf before sending it by email

Currently, Adobe Scan app doesn't support encrypting pdf on mobile devices- Android/iOS, sorry for the inconvenience. However, you can encrypt a scanned document in Adobe Acrobat desktop application.
