How to save scan as PNG for Adobe Scan Premium?

Explorer ,
Sep 27, 2024 Sep 27, 2024

With Adobe Scan Premium I need help with saving as PNG which has not only consumes much less storage but higher resolution. I tried save as original but Photo shows JPEG which is 1MB.
my workaround is to screenshot Saved Photo from Adobe Scan to reduce file storage to 640KB

Is screenshot the only way to reduce Adobe Scan Save as image by 36%?

BTW why JPEG is default rather than PNG?

My workaround is to export to PNG. This is more clicks than running iPhone  shortcut to  save as PNG but does not need iPhone shortcut.

Hi @Sunny233119449b32

I hope this message finds you well! Thank you for reaching out to us with your inquiry.

At the moment, Adobe Scan does not have the functionality to save PDFs directly as PNG files. However, we do offer the ability to save images as JPEGs, which might meet some of your needs.

We value your feedback and always strive to enhance our product offerings based on user input. If you'd like to see the option to save PDFs as PNGs in future updates, we encourage you to submit a feature request directly to our engineering team. You can do so by visiting the following link: Acrobat Reader for iOS Feature Requests.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or need assistance.
