Login issues when logging in with Google account

Hello -

I am supporting teachers who are trying to use Adobe Scan. We are all using iOS devices and logging in with our Google for Education accounts. For most users, it works amazingly well.

For some users, when they go to login and select to login with a Google Account, they input their Google credentials, the Adobe info page comes up that asks for their birthdate (they are all adults so no issue there), but then when they submit that page, they get an error message:

Adobe ID

Error

There was an error with this action. Try again later.

Any suggestions for a solution? I don't notice anything obvious that is different about the users that get this error vs those of us that do not get it and login just fine.

Thanks!

Hi Ericaa,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As the users get an error when trying to sign in using Google Account, please make sure that the details they enter while signing in are same as register on the Google account.

It may be one of the reasons they get an error.

Please check if the users are able to sign in online service with their Google account.

Open this link and try to sign in with the Google account option.

Let us know how it goes.

We will be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi -

I know they're not putting in incorrect details as I've had them try multiple times and each time they get the same error. They are able to sign into other online services with their Google Account.

Did you mean to include a specific link? I did not see one included in your post.

Sorry as I missed to add the link.

Here is the link Adobe Document Cloud.

Open the link provided above and then sign in with your Google account credentials.

Check if they can log in without any issues.

Let us know how it goes.

Meenakshi

I just finally got feedback from teachers trying this solution, and this is what they said:

"trying the Adobe link you sent... When the teacher clicks 'sign in with Google', her account and then enters her birthday, the system gives a message "Error. There was an error with this action. Try again later." We tried this on an Acer laptop today and on a school iPad last week. Same message all the time. "
