Lost all the Adobe Scan Files

Hi,

I seem to have lost all my previous scans in the iOS Adobe Scan app.

I have tried to sign out and sign back in: No previous scans.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled: No previous scans.

I have searched in the online version: No previous scans.

I have tried checking with other accounts: No previous scans.

 

I really need those scans, since some of them I hadn't saved them yet anywhere else.

Missing files can occur for several reasons, including accidental deletion or syncing issues with cloud storage. Sometimes, files may not appear because they were saved under a different account or folder. Additionally, if an application crashes or malfunctions, it can lead to lost data.

To prevent this, regularly back up your files and ensure you’re using the correct account for storage

  • Check your account: Ensure you are logged into the same account on both Adobe Scan and Adobe Cloud storage.
    Note: make sure you are using the correct account under the same email when sign-in

  • Verify cloud storage: Visit Adobe cloud storage to see if your documents are saved under the Adobe Scan Folder and ensure you have enough storage available on the Adobe Cloud.

Hi,

I’ve ensured that I logged in with the correct account and had previously confirmed that all files were backed up. What’s puzzling is that all the files are missing—not just a few, which would typically be the case if there were a backup issue on my end.

This suggests a broader issue, possibly from Adobe Scan’s side. I’ve also noticed that several other users have reported similar problems, indicating that this might not be an isolated incident.

As all files are missing, it appears that you are signed in to another account. Please ensure that you are signed in to the correct account. When you hide your email when logging in with an Apple ID, a masked address creates a separate account, leading to potential confusion. To avoid this, show your original email to link existing accounts, or remember your login choice. Please try signing out and signing in again.
