Lost Entire Scan Progess after Battery Warning

Today I was scanning a 60 page document with iPhone 7 10.0.1 and Adobe Scan 18.03.27.

On the 56th page I got a low battery warning dialog box, and Adobe Scan never recovered after that. I was forced to quit the application, which resulted in losing the entire scan progress. This is not an ideal situation. Is there a way for Adobe Scan to keep already taken photos for recovery later? (They can be deleted manually later to save space on the device.)

Hi Sunumofisi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

When you scan the PDFs and quit the application, there is no way to recover the scans.

You need to click on the "Save to PDF" option in order to save the scans.

For a workaround, you can capture the image of the documents so they will be saved on your device.

Then you can convert those photos into scanned PDF any time using the Adobe Scan application on your device.

You may share your feedback for this over here Scan iOS Feature Request and Bug Report Form.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi
