Scanner isn’t working

New Here ,
May 05, 2025 May 05, 2025

After the most recent update, the scanner isn't working. It says "switch camera to full screen mode" while there is no way to adjust or change it, and it appears to be in full screen mode? I've done everything from deleting and reinstalling the app to checking all the settings, and nothing seems to be working. Any recommendations?

To follow up on my post since multiple people are experiencing the same issue, I was able to get it to work again. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, turned the camera settings for the app off and then back on, and then restarted my phone. I'm not sure what caused it not to work - but those steps worked for me to resolve the issue.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end and its working fine. Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Scan app and the OS you are using? Tap on the profile icon > About Acrobat and make sure its updated to 25.05.04 from the App/Play Store and reboot the device once.

If it still doesn't work, please share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs so we can check it at our end.

Regards
Amal

i am using an iPhone 16 Pro Max

app version is up to date.. I tried removing and reinstalling the app, but it did not work

in settings the zoom is not on for the phone display and the text size is also not zoomed.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and we are sorry for the trouble.

Please give us some time to get this checked with the development team. We will share the update as soon as we get more information.

In the meantime, please try the steps as below and see if that works for you:

Try to switch the zoom and toggle back.
Change to large > done.
Then again from large > default > done.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards
Amal
