Adobe XD crash when I try to open an XD file

Hi,

 

Everytime I try to open a file in adobe XD the whole app crashes (however i can open the app itself). I have attached the crash log. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you try renaming this folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe XD

Then launch again?

Thanks for the reply.

 

Unfortunately, I tried to rename the file but the problem still persists. I also tried a cleaner tool for XD, but that didnt seem to work either. This problem ony occured when I moved from windows (surface pro) to this mac - where I can still open the file on my windows laptop. Maybe it has something to do with this?

I would also try doing a "Save As…" and see if that cleans up something within the file. Another idea, would be to create a new document, put one item on it, and try the platform transfer. If that causes the issue, then you know it is XD having the problem and not the specific file.
