Bonjour 👋
Est-ce-que Adobe XD est devenu payant après la dernière mise à jour v50.0.12 ?
Hi All,
Thank you so much for your patience. Below is the update that I got from the team.
Adobe has acknowledged an issue with the version 50 update of XD, and hopefully they will address it.
But importantly, the Starter version of XD has not gone away, and there seems to be a straightforward workaround to access it (even in version 50)...
Here it is: Instead of launching XD from the Creative Cloud Desktop app, try starting it from elsewhere – namely, from the Windows Start menu or from the macOS Dock/Launchpad.
Then choose the "Exit XD" button, but XD Starter should stil

I have the same issue -- I can't access the starter plan for Adobe XD. It redirects me for 7-days free trial only.

Hi, did you try the suggestions given in the discussion above?
Even if you sign up for the free trial and download/install XD, you can always cancel it before 7 days have passed and XD Starter will continue to run on your computer for free.

The Starter plan still exists:

Try this link:

See if that helps.

I followed your advice, however it doesn't work.
After I clicked Download Adobe XD link, it says "could not install XD" -- ...to install the app, continue to start free trial

I am also having issues downloading it. It won't allow me to download without opening creative cloud where is says I don't subscribe to it and have to upgrade to it.

One way around that could be to sign up for the free trial and download & install XD, then cancel it before 7 days have passed... The full trial would end but XD Starter will continue to run on your computer for free, with no payment made.
You could even cancel the free trial the same day after downloading, if you so choose.

It's incredible that they haven't been able to fix this yet.
This has been going on for almost a year now, is everyone using other products now, or is Adobe just ignoring this?
I know for sure that fixing an issue like this isn't difficult.

Hi @Lese77 ,
Sorry to hear about the trouble. On launching XD from the Creative Cloud Desktop app, it will notify you about the current plan details be it be Paid or Starter plan. If you've signed up for trial and now wish to continue with the starter plan, you can continue using XD Starter by launching XD manually (from the Windows Start menu or macOS Dock/Launchpad).
Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or issues.
Regards
Rishabh

Basically, what Adobe seems to be saying here is that you now need to run a free trial first in order to download and install XD on your computer.
Then you can cancel the free trial if you wish (by 7 days or within 21 days at the latest), and you will still have ongoing access to the permanently-free XD Starter plan with its reduced set of features.
As noted, you can continue using XD Starter by running it manually from the Windows Start menu or macOS Dock/Launchpad, rather than via the Desktop app.

When I use a free software is as easy as download, install and run. After two days trying to get a free version of Adobe XD to work I've found this thread.
I see the the problem has been there for months now. So it's clear that this is not a "bug" on the last version update. If XD is free it should show on the CC app "Available on your plan" section with an "Install" button as Premiere Rush, Bridge or Character Animator.
Of course I will not give my credit card information just to download a "free" software. This makes at practice the free version of Adobe XD cancelled, and makes it's even worst for all the user that thrusted Adobe on using it.

Same issue here.
I am unable to download it from anywhere, all the links posted here just redirect me to https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud.htmlwhere it simply says starts free trial or buy.
I don't really want to start a free plan to download a free software. Also, what happens if I need to reinstall it after the trial has already expired?
