All Website Links Failing Security Check?

I've recently run into an issue with XD, where all my links to external sites (Apple, Google, etc.) are returning a warning page that said that they have not been validated as secure by Adobe.  Strangely enough, Adobe's site seems to pass OK...

Anyway, can anyone at Adobe comment on this, or let us know when a fix is coming?

Thanks!

I got confirmation from the team that this is an expected behavior and currently, we don't have a way to avoid this warning notification. You can still access the link by proceeding with the URL.

Thanks

Someone else created a post with the same issue 3 days ago. I chimed in on it making it known more people have this as an issue. They have failed to respond till now. Let's hope your post maybe brings some attention to this issue.

Hi Damon,

I'm responding to further make it known that others are having the same issue! All of my prototyped hyperlink actions to url destinations prompt failed security checks. A month or so ago this was not the case!

I'm having the same issue. It's very disruptive and destroys the mood when clicking on the link. I hope they remove this. I get that it is for security purposes, but it damages the presentation. I hope they can fix it!

I have been having the same issue since October 2023. I am only linking to my company website and my company holds the subscription for Adobe Creative Suite. I could maybe see this being an issue for some unknown site, but why my own website? I hope this issue is corrected soon. Thank you!

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I can get this checked by the team so can you share the version of XD, OS and share a sample link for testing. We'll try our best to assist.

Thanks

Rishabh,

Thank you for looking into this.

My XD version is 57.1.12 and OS is 12.7.4.

Here is the link to our app on our website, the security warning occurs when you click on the Pick-A-Pole app follow the prompts and when it tells you which product you should buy. The end result is a link to the product on our website and that is when the message comes up.

Still have the same issue. For presentation for UX/UI experience, I think this message is terrible. Best to have an option to switch it off.

Given XD is in maintenance mode, Adobe will not be addressing this. It sucks. I would recommend migrating to a new design tool.
