Can't find installation path of Adobe XD

Hi,

I am trying to create a shortcut to the Adobe XD executable on my desktop, but I can't seem to find where it is installed. It's not in C:\Program Files\Adobe where I have Photoshop and Lightroom, and the only way I can access it is through the Adobe Creative Cloud. Any help would be appreciated.

XD is a Windows UWP app, so it's different from traditional Windows apps. You can create a shortcut by dragging Adobe Experience Design icon from Start Menu and dropping it on your Desktop.

I had this issue - I needed to change the default app for .psd files to open with XD but couldnt as the XD is hidden in WindowsApp folder which, although I have full permissions on the work computer, I was unable to access for 'security' reasons.....  so I made sure XD was open and running, and then opened task manager, Click the Details Tab and find the process running, Right Click on it and I can Open File Location! Something I have been unable to do on the app card in start menu etc. It worked an took me inside the WindowsApp folder of which I am supposed to not have access to!? I copied the xd.exe onto my desktop and was then able to select XD as the type of program I want .psd files to open with (I guess this is because the .exe (even a copy of it) is now outside my "protected" WindowsApp folder.
