Can the trigger in XD be set as scrolling?

I want to make the transition between every scroll look like "Push up" effects as it should go to different sections in the same webpage. However, instead of setting the trigger as tap, click, or keys and gamepad, I want to set as scrolling.  But seems like XD doesn't have that function just yet. Anyone know to achieve this effects?

Unfortunately, no. You can't set a scroll trigger for now.

You can simulate this by adding one of the available triggers to some other element, like an arrow button pointing down, and auto-animating between multiple artboards.

Thank you for your response, hopefully XD will have this feature soon. As I think users are more familiar with scrolling rather than click or using arrow button when navigating in the same page.

Sure, Jannie. What I meant about the arrow was just to show the developers what happens when you scroll down, as you can't do it with a scroll trigger. It would be just shown on the prototype, and when the final website is made it would still work when you scroll down.

Yes, it would work when the website is built.

I was asking because I need to do a user testing for my website design, and would want the user to experience the way I want it to work. However, it seems like it's not possible to do so at the moment, so I will go ahead and test it with what I have. But thanks a lot for the answer.

Adobe has stopped development of XD. If this is critical feature you need for your work you will to find another tool to use.
