I would love to see a new feature related to Adobe XD components.

The idea is to "duplicate a main component" making it a new main component, bringing along with it all the interactions already created in its copy.

Gostaria muito de ver um novo recurso relacionado aos componentes do Adobe XD.

A ideia é "duplicar um componente principal" tornando-o um novo componente principal, trazendo junto dele todas as interações já criadas em sua cópia.

Hi Victor, that's a good idea for a feature indeed. There is a feature request for this on uservoice, which you can upvote as well.

You can currently sort of achieve this by copying it to a new file, and then copying from that back to the first file (you shouldn't have any libraries published on both files). You will now have 2 of the same main components in your first file, and all the inside interactions intact.

After Component is pasted in a new file, be sure that it is Local (not Linked). In v43 and earlier, these were always Linked. Starting in v44, these are Linked for Published Components, but should be converted to Local otherwise.

If Component is Linked, then use Make Local before copying it to paste back in original doc.

Hope this helps,

Randy
