Font styling disappearing

Help. 3x over the past 24 hours my font styling suddenly disappears. There is a lag...as if having a memory issue, then when the page unfreezes all my styling defaults to one weight of my font (poppins). So all the semi bold and bold become regular. Or all the light becomes bold. The size changes as well. I recreated the file, removed font styles and started over and it happened again! This has happened when working on the desktop and in the cloud. I have all other applications closed (after the first time it happened). It's hours of work to restyle everyone over and over...it's also affecting font awesome five...that all turns to poppins.

macOS 12.5.1

XD is latest version.

any ideas?

does this problem occur with all files? Do you happen to use a font manager?

No, not all files. I use adobe fonts in the cloud.

Could you please share a screenshot of the issue for better understanding?
Is it specific to font Poppins?
