Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the steps shared below:

  1. Sign out of XD and Creative Cloud Desktop App.
  2. Close CoreSync and All Adobe related services from the Task Manager/Activity Monitor.
  3. Reboot the computer.
  4. Sign in on the Creative Cloud Desktop app and launch XD from there.
  5. Check if you are able to save the cloud document.

If this doesn't help, please share a few more details like:

  • A screenshot of the About XD info page.
  • The version of the Operating System.
  • Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?

Regards

Rishabh

I am able to save cloud files but the problem is when I am working on a file and that file is a cloud document. When auto-saving procedure of cloud documents happens then xd stucks.

I am having the same issue that when auto-saving the application becomes non-responsive and I am forced to pause my work until the operation completes. I am on a fast and reliable connection (250 down, 10 up, no packet loss). Without any control over the auto-save feature I feel I might be forced to keep my documents local-only while I am working on them and not use the cloud features as much as I would like.

Hi gDealerpeak,

We are sorry for the frustration. We would request you to please share the version of XD and the OS build of your machine. Does that happen with all files or with a specific file?

Please try the below steps-

Let us know if that helps. We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

Hi Fred5CD1,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the requested information. Is it possible for you to share the XD file with me over a  private message so that we can investigate further? If yes, please upload the file to a shared location such as CC or Dropbox and share the URL with me.

Please also generate logs and crash dumps and share the URL with me.

Thanks,

Harshika

The problem with that fix is I've already lost the data and have to re-enter it, if I can remember what I wrote.

@lynn_3251 that's why you should always save to your computer first versus the cloud. I always save to my computer and then another back-up to the cloud, just in case. If there are complete version changes, I also save these as well...always have a backup to a backup!
