How to fixed Position Modal while Scrolling?

I am creating a tap interaction link on a mobile layout that triggers a modal dialog box. Is there a method to keep the modal positioned over the tap area even while scrolling? I am experiencing difficulty to get it to pop in the exact position. Since the page is scrolling vertically the position of the linked to be tapped would be in a different position. Thank you.

You can create a component state that shows a modal dialogue box. The component scrolls (so does the modal state) with the artboard.
