Issue changing text colour - XD 57

Hi all,

XD Version : 57.1.12.2

Since updating Adobe XD, when selecting some text elements I cannot change colour, I select the text element, select a colour and it stays black. The only way to "fix" it, is to completely delete the text elemeent and type it out again. Surely this can't be the only way?

The text elements are not grouped or components, just simple text elements.

I've tried to save the file as a "new" file in the current version, but to no avail.

Any help?

Sorry for the inconvenience, could you please let us know:
1. What is your OS version of your machine
2. Is it happening with all the files
3. Since when you are getting the error
4. Could you please share logs and short video.

I am also facing this issue when Update XD

@Nikunj_Cygnet_one make sure you select your object to change your fill or border (stroke). You can add a swatch in the 'assets' of colors, or click on the swatch of either fill or border or use the eye dropper to sample a colour.

The key thing is selecting it. Try that out. 

If not, please take a screenshot to see the issue or make a mini movie of it
