Issue with components and states

I have created a scrolling menu of filters in a button style. I made a hover and active state for the main component. When I copy to create more instances, then alter the text - the hover and active states show up with the original text.
Not sure where I'm getting this wrong.

Hi @seeinghuman ,

Thank you for reaching out. I tested this, and it's working fine on my end. While altering text, please double-click on the component state to enter isolation mode and modify the text. Please try this, and in case if it still doesn't work, please share a small video of the workflow. We'll try our best to assist you with this.

Thanks

What do you mean it works on your end? It's not working for me. I drag an instance of the compont. I change the label text and the icon. I go to preview mode and hover.. the instance always goes back to the original text from the main instance! It's infuriating and makes me not want to use the app at all!

Hi @seeinghuman, the main component's text is preserved in other states, I can't think of any other way then changing the text in all states of the component, in addition to its default state, after copying an instance of it. Hope this helps!

Edit: I've just seen the @Rishabh_Tiwari's post and I agree, text needs to be changed in all states.
