Lottie file doesn't work in preview mode (in browser)

Hi!

I've added a lottie file on a screen in my design. It worked perfectly in preview mode in Adobe XD, but when I opened the preview in browser, it seems like I didn't added any lottie file into design. As I read about lottie issues on the forum, I understand that there were some issues with lottie animations containg text. The animatimation I use doesn't contain any text. I'll attach a preview from Adobe XD for what it should have looked like.

How can I resolv this problem?

Denisa

Hi @Denisule,

I tried loading the Lottie file into XD, and it gave me the same error as Ares showed up. After investigating the file, we found out there is a text layer with Font that has limited glyphs due to subsetting.

We tried editing the JSON file and removed the Font used in this file.

Note: This seems to be a specific file issue where we are able to remove the fonts to fix the issue.

Please check the attached Lottie file, it should open fine now.

Do you have the same result in different browsers?

So far I tried to preview the animation in chrome and safari (on mac) and in mozilla (windows). I got the same result 😞

Hi @Denisule,

Sorry for the trouble and trying the steps suggested in the posts. Is it possible for you to share the Lottie file with us so that we can check on our end? The suggestion earlier was to change the font in the Lottie file.

Does that happen with this specific Lottie file or all files?

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

Sure, I'll attach the lottie below. It's the only lottie I use throughout the design for successful payment
