Major issues trying to edit text

I've had this issue for a year or so now, but it seems to have gotten worse. Editing text is super difficult at times. It gets into this mode where you enter the text but it doesnt appear on the screen and the cursor locks up. You resize XD window and it shakes the cursor free, but your text isn't there. By closing the file and re-opening it, it sometimes works but not always. Really struggling to edit text, which as you could imagine, slows down my life, lol.

Hi, does this problem occur with all files? Are you using the latest version of the software?
