Pen Tool Keeps Deselecting

I can not currently draw or edit shapes using the pen tool. I Select Pen Tool > Click Point > Move Mouse > this is when it de-selects. Also on old XD files I go to edit a shape > Select Point > de-selects

Any ideas?

Sorted. Simply delete the the Adobe XD folder located in Library > Application Support > Adobe

Thanks for sharing the info. If you're unable to see the XD folder under this location: Library > Application Support > Adobe, then I would request you to please try uninstalling XD and then reinstall it from Creative Cloud Deskop app.
