Repeat grid doesn't scroll in prototype mode

I am quite new to Adobe XD but as far as I know, the repeat grid should allow the user to scroll through all of the content of the page when viewing it in prototype mode.
I am using the Windows version, is this scrolling functionality only in the Mac version?
I just want to know what I am doing wrong and why the repeat grid won't scroll when viewing as a prototype.
Thanks!

The intention of the Repeat Grid is to let you easily design grid-like rows and/or columns of repeating content. Like a long list, an array of cards, or maybe just five rating stars in a horizontal row. But that's it. It's just static content, non-scrolling. It doesn't scroll within itself. The screen as a whole needs to scroll, and it will, only if you create a longer screen with a grid reaching beyond that dashed line (which indicates the viewport, the intially visual part of the screen).
Don't forget the fun part, how to populate such Repeat Grids with automatically alternating content, like multiple images or different text labels !
