I had a question regarding components creation on Adobe XD.
I realized components for each pictogram with a transparent background for them to be all the same size.
I would like to add a text on the side of my newly created components. However, if I reduce my second component and change the pictogram, the latter goes back to its "original" size. Is there a way for my pictogram to not change size when I do so?

Hi @florie26261004b2jd, that can be something about editing an instance of a component, if the situation here is changing the size of a visual in an "instance" of a component and not seeing those changes in another copy of the component. If you want those changes to be applied to all of the components, you need to edit the main component (you can right click to a component and select "edit main component" in order to do that). If you need more info about components: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVNcdrPLvFs
Another issue might be something with responsive resize? (Probably my first suggestion is going to solve your problem but still) For more info on responsive resize if you need btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxi2kBF7uiQ
Hope this helps!

My pictograms can have different sizes depending on the use. This is why I would like to be able to reduce and change the pictogram from my main component for my second component, without the pictogram readapting its size to the size of the main component.

From what I understood and thinking what I'd do, I'd only edit the instances to adapt the size of the visuals, not the main component, to keep the changes only in that particular component. If we're talking about a few size variations that can be grouped, you might want to create states in the main component for those size differences, that'd be the easiest way to keep things consistent and easily managable.
Hope this helps and feel free to share any other examples if you have any other questions!
