Why can't I download adobe xd free plan now?

We are sorry for the trouble. XD starter plan remains available for people learning UI/UX designers who have limited needs to share or collaborate with others. You can continue using XD Starter by launching XD manually (from the Windows Start menu or macOS Dock/Launchpad)

Can you give us more details. Do you have Adobe ID license? Are you downloading Adobe xd from Adobe Creative Cloud

Yes, I downloaded it through Adobe Creative Cloud.
But before that I had access to Plan Free, where I was normally able to hit the download button on Creative Cloud.
Before this problem, I tried to try it by pressing the 7-day trial of the full version.
On the same device, I was able to use Plan Free normally after the trial period expired.
but now On my new laptop I can't download it through Adobe Creative Cloud.

Check your active sessions in your from your Adobe ID website. Deactivate if you have more than 2. Sign in/out into your account and try again.

I am having the same problem. I can't download it from within the app or by clicking the link on https://www.adobe.com/de/products/xd/pricing/starter-plan.html (which btw. also leads to the app).
Is the free version supposed to be available still?

I had the same experience. Couldn't update on Starter Plan at all, uninstalled and then I couldn't install again. It shows that Adobe XD is not available anymore in my country but I used Starter Plan so far without any problems.

As many other people have already replied, this work-around does not solve the actual problem. The actual problem is that we are not able to install / upgrade Adobe XD without an active subscription. Launching the installed application works just fine.

You practically force us to pay in the conditions in which we do not use it professionally, I recommend figma for those who have this problem

I can't even install it, it says it's not available in my counry. Paid or free. I really wish someone from the team addresses this.

even figma is not for free anymore 😕
