We are sorry for the bad experience with Adobe XD. Would you mind telling us more about the issue you're experiencing? Please share the version of XD installed on your Mac machine.
Is it slowing on a specific workflow?
We will try our best to help.
Thanks,
Harshika

First of all, there are lots of Adobe services loaded at startup. Why? What if I don't use any Adobe products whole day? You assume that "Everyone uses our products everytime"
"Adobe consumes CPU, Ram, Power all the time" means ADOBE is NOT an environmentally friendly company. I think the ADOBE management needs to think about it, seriously!
Secondly,
I've reached out your support team twice (Adobe Case ADB-30149908-R9D1) Each chat session took 1hr+
And the result is an email from the support like this "We can say that some of the link elements are broken in your file"
Did they break by themselves? Or did I breake them intentionally? I have absolutely no idea how they can be broken and how can I fix it. At this point, maybe you can help a bit.
By the way, I'm not sure that the slow performance issue could be fixed after fixing broken links. XD is always slow especialy with the files which have complex design elements.
Thank you.

Small design files= moderate speed, tolerable.
Big design files= Drastically slow, makes me hate my designer life, even copy-paste takes 10min, trying to close the app is impossible, having "not responding" message in activity monitor.
XD has serious drawbacks on complex design files with plenty of states, repeat grids and connections.
It should be a way of solution. I mean, a general solution, not just for me.

As an AI language model, I don't have access to real-time data or specific user experiences, so I can't provide a definitive answer as to why Adobe XD might be slow on your system. However, I can suggest some common reasons why Adobe XD, or any software in general, might experience performance issues:
Hardware limitations: Adobe XD is a resource-intensive application that requires a modern computer with sufficient RAM, CPU, and graphics capabilities to perform optimally. If your computer's hardware does not meet the minimum requirements, you may experience slowdowns and lag.
Large and complex files: Working with large design files or using high-resolution assets, numerous artboards, or complex interactions can strain your computer's resources and lead to slower performance.
Other running applications: Running resource-heavy applications simultaneously with Adobe XD can lead to performance issues, as they compete for system resources.
Outdated software: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Adobe XD, as software updates often include performance improvements and bug fixes.
Insufficient disk space: If your computer's hard drive is nearly full, it can impact the performance of all applications, including Adobe XD.
Software conflicts: Sometimes, conflicts with other software or plugins can cause slowdowns in Adobe XD. Try disabling any third-party plugins to see if performance improves.
Background processes: Background processes and services running on your computer can consume system resources and affect performance.
To improve Adobe XD's performance, consider the following steps:
a. Check hardware requirements: Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for Adobe XD.
b. Optimize design files: Try to simplify complex designs and use optimized images to reduce the strain on system resources.
c. Close unnecessary applications: Close other resource-intensive applications running in the background.
d. Clear cache: Adobe XD creates cache files while working on projects, and clearing them periodically may help improve performance.
e. Update drivers: Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date, as they can significantly impact performance.
f. Update Adobe XD: Keep Adobe XD up to date to benefit from the latest performance improvements and bug fixes.
If you've tried these steps and continue to experience slow performance, you may want to contact Adobe support or seek assistance from their community forums to identify and address any specific issues on your system........

I'm having the same issue where any file no matter how small or big has the same lagging issue. The interesting thing is that if I navigate the document when the program is out of focus (I'm on a 2023 Macbook Pro M2 with 64GB RAM) it's fast but as soon as I click on the program and bring it into focus and try to navigate or move anything, it's a slideshow. I've cleared the Adobe cache files, restarted XD, rebooted my computer and still it's consistently slow with every file. I have over a TB of space left on my hard drive so space isn't an issue either.
