Adobe XD crashes (White screen) on launch on Windows 10 machine

Hi Everyone, please try to update XD to the latest version using this link: - Update apps to the latest release of Adobe Creative Cloud.​ In case that doesn't work, please try solutions mentioned below-

 

 

If you still face the issue, please generate logs, Crash dumps and upload them to a shared location such as CC or Dropbox and share the URL with HARSHIKA_VERMA.

 

We will try our best to escalate the issue.

Hi There,

 

Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear you are facing trouble using Adobe XD.We would like to know a few more details  like-

  1. The version of XD.
  2. The version of Win OS build which you are using(Type run in search tab present taskbar and type winver inside run: share the screenshot of it).
  3. The version of creative cloud.
  4. The version of Graphic driver(type dxdiag on Windows search and select the Display tab)
  5. Are you getting any blank screen while opening XD.
  6. Is it possible to share video of your Issue, so that we can Investigate from our end. 

 

Also we would request you to please try the below troubleshoot steps and let us know if that works-

1. Try creating a new user account on your machine and then try to launch XD. If it works, go to the previous account-.

2. Signout of Creative Cloud Desktop app

3. End all all Creative Cloud desktop app process from task manager.

4. Uninstall XD, Creative Cloud Desktop app using the Adobe Cleaner tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.

4. Restart the machine.

5. Install Creative Cloud, XD.

If this doesn't help, once it crashed please collect the system logs so we will make sure to report the issue for investigation. Though, we would need Adobe logs and Crash dumps of your machine for investigation purposes. Please generate the logs and upload them to a shared location such as CC or Dropbox and share the URL with us here or over a PM.  We will make sure to file a feedback ticket of your machine's logs

Hi,

I've recently updated my Adobe XD to 31.2.12.

It worked fine for 1-2 days than suddenly started to fail to run.

It just hangs on a white screen, and no way to make it start anymore. Every try to run it ends with that white screen.

Error on Adobe XD - the white screen shows and close. Software do not open.

Windows 10 Pro - Version 1909 - x64 processor - (ram: 8Gb)
Adobe XD Version 31.1.12

Adobe XD cannot open, after PC turn on just blank white and then forced closed.

already try open XD using Creative cloud application doesn't pop up anything.

Windows 10 64bit ver. 1903

Intel Core i5 333CPU

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 210

Memory 8GB

Hi, 
I've started a new job 2 months ago and XD is not working on any of their computers
Whenever we try to open it or to open a file with it, we can't even see the interace, it's like nothing happens. It just crashes.
The version is currently 31.0.12, but we tried with previous versions. 
The computers run under Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0.18363.
Our IT service tried everything, but apparently nothing worked (I'm new and I was not in charge of this matter until now so I can't give you a list of everything that's ever been tried for now), the last solution according to them would be to deal directly with Adobe.
So my question is : did any of you have the same problem, and if so, how did you solve it?

For now we're working with Figma, and whenever I need to use an old file from my coworkers I just open it on my personal computer and export it in .svg but it's really not optimal.

Recently I can't use my Adobe XD, because of crashing. When it opens it crashes. Currently, I am in a starter plan. Is there anything you guys can do for me?

Does reinstalling Windows then reinstall XD solve this problem?

You may also want to consider to test first with a new user profile account. If it works in the new account then you don't have to go through the hassle of backing up data, and reinstalling drivers, manually re-applying updates, etc.

 

Is not a bad idea though.

I'm a trial application user who's hoping to buy XD.

I've updated XD to the latest version (v30.2.12.3). After the update, XD started crashing on startup. I'm on Windows 10 Pro (1909 Edition).

 

Attempted the Following:

 

1. Re-installed Adobe XD using Creativity Cloud Application.

2. Re-installed Creativity Cloud Application.

3. Re-installed Adobe XD Manually.
