Hello,
Version 25.1x41 of After Effects Beta introduces support for additional 32-bpc blend modes on the GPU when your layer has motion blur applied. In our testing, projects designed to solely stress blending can render about 50% faster with GPU blend modes enabled. Though we know your projects aren't limited to blending, you should see slightly faster rendering across your entire project. This feature allows users to use their GPU for 32-bpc blending for the following 8 blend modes:
There should not be any rendering differences between CPU and GPU rendering for 32-bpc for the blend modes listed. Please give this new functionality a try and let us know how it's working for you!

That's a nice improvement. Why is Subtract not there? Was it already GPU accelerated? Feels like the same kind of operations as Add no? Same for Divide/Multiply?

We've started with the most-used blend modes. Subtract and Divide aren't quite as popular. 🙂

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure others will follow soon but I fail to see/understand how 'popularity' dictates implementation order. Is it that difficult to implement all at once? Feels like 'basic math operations'...
Furthermore, Divide and Subtract are used just as much as Add and Multiply when you are compositing. You use them both in tandem in the most commonly used beauty clean up techniques. They're also equally important for chroma keying.
Looking forward to see the others updated as well.
