Description
It seems that it is possible to import 3D assets via scripting, but users encounter an options dialog upon import before the asset is ready in the project. Can we get scripting support for that particular import options dialog?
We want users to be able to either accept the defaults of the dialog, or have scripting access to those settings, possibly in AE's Import object. In essence, the objective is to be able to import 3D file types "silently" without user interaction via scripting.
Why is this valuable?
Some of Templater users want to automatically re-version their composition with various 3D object source files. These users can accomplish this with Element3D because .obj files are imported without any dialog. Current scripting access allows us to change the source of those Element3D .obj layers because there is no import dialog that users encounter upon adding an .obj data file to the project. For the new, native 3D support, it would be valuable to be able to specify those import options via scripting so that users would not need to interface with a dialog upon scripting import.
