i have updated adobe animate, reinstalled my driver as well as the animate program.
the brush tool displaces every stroke i make, a few centimeters to the right after i lift my tablet pen.
worse, both the pencil tool and the paint brush tool continue drawing line well after i've lifted my tablet pen. the worst instance was just now - i was creating a simple stroke with the paint brush tool, and after lifting my tablet pen, the stroke continued to follow my pen around the whole screen (the pen was not touching the tablet screen). i wasn't able to click out of the tool, even, and had to keyboard smash to escape the stroke. the result was a huge, single-line mess of squiggles.
the smaller (though incredibly time-wasting) issue of the brush tool's strokes being displaced after lifting the has been going on for a while. the pencil tool has always been screwed up like this for me, between 2 different pen computers on which every other adobe drawing program draws perfectly fine.
what is going on with the drawing tools in adobe animate? i am doing a professional test and my lines are coming out so displaced and messy because the strokes i'm creating keep getting screwed.
Hi mate,
Since you're using Wacom there is a good chance that you will be able to get the things going as they should.
Look online for "Windows Ink" and see how you can enable or disable it, install it or remove it, depending on what your situation at the moment is.
Also check all the Pen settings in Windows Control panel and try to switch most things off.
I'm under the impression that there is interference with the Wacom driver coming from some native Windows service, because you are running a tabl

It might be helpful to know exactly what hardware you're using, though it sounds like your pen's nib is defective.

Listed system details below in thread.
Is it possible for a defective nib to act up exclusively in a single software? I ask because other creative suit programs are not suggesting any issues of the same type.

Hi mate,
For a long time now Animate CC has had troubles with non-Wacom drawing input.
You wrote a long post with much detail, but somehow omitted the information about your digitizer, AnCC version and OS.
Please, include it, so that your post gets some informational value and stops being just a personal anecdote.

The hope was that someone with a similar "anecdote" might come along and let me know a solution that worked for them. Unless there has been a notable software bug involved, these posts typically turn into diagnostic guessing games otherwise, anyway.
Operating on a Cintiq Companion
Currently AnCC 19.2
19.1, 19.0, and have all shared the same issue.
Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, OS 17763.437
Updated Wacom driver.
Everything listed is updated as far as my system suggests is possible--hope one of these factors jumps out.
Thank you for volunteering your time to help me.

Do a few restarts while trying various things.
I don't have a Companion but a friend has and he has never complained about having issues with Animate.
(Microsoft Surface users, however, have lots of issues and that is why we had to determine what your digitizer was.)
Good luck!
