Adobe Animate Symbols Disappearing

Hello,
having some problems with animate's symbols. How do i stop this from happening?
The layers are still there but without the symbols.

What kind of information would help?
Usually this happends after work. i save everything, close it, and in the next this is what appears.

I went into the symbols, but the ones in red are in the timeline. but it was the symbol it self that disappeared. even in the library it's missing

layer parenting is error-prone and most likely causing your issue.

you could copy your content and paste into a new fla to test if that fixes the issue.

not that i know.  you could try google and see if anyone has found a fix.
