Hi,
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga Ultrabook that has tablet functionality via Wacom. I have had no issue drawing within the Photoshop that I have had for months now, but when I just installed Flash CC, the tablet will not let me use the tablet pen to draw a line correctly. What it does is makes a long straight diagonal line every time I try to touch it to the screen, and then at the end of said line, it then will draw what I gesture with my hand. The problem is, its offset now to the end of the line, so it is completely unusable. It has no problem working if I were to use my finger on the touch screen instead of the pen, which is very strange.
Some things to note:
-Again, it works fine with the pen in other drawing apps like photoshop
-The issue persists with the default pen and a different brand pen that I frequently use.
-I have all my graphics drives updated
-I have the latest Wacom Feel it drivers
-I turned off all tablet settings that might interfere. Which shouldn't matter anyway if the pen works in other Adobe apps.
-I cant find a single thing online that comes anywhere close to what I need about this issue. I have no where else to turn! It seems like a Flash not being able to handle the tablet function settings.
-I am not a newbie to the Wacom functionality, so I have tried all of the obvious fixes.
Does anyone know of any fixes for this problem? I have the 30 day free trial of Flash, and I am not going to buy this if I cant get it resolved in the next month!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi,
This issue is reproducible on some specific devices only and is being investigated and tracked internally.Any progress on this will be conveyed.
Meanwhile if it is not a problem for you, could you please uninstall the driver for tablet and Flash(Use CC cleaner tool) and re-install the latest version of drivers from Legacy Drivers | Wacom and also Flash Pro CC 2014 from Creative cloud. reboot the system and check if the issue happens??Because most of the times updation of the driver has helped

I FOUND THE PROBLEM..... kinda
Hi i also have been dealing with this problem like you have.
Some of you may have noticed (if you have a second monitor) every time you move things from one display to the Cintiq, the Cintiq artificially grows it.
Try it! take a chrome document drag it from one display to the cintiq, you may notice that at first it will appear small but after it half of the pagehas moved to the Cintiq. It will expand.
After seeing this I tried to have only less than half of flash window on my cintiq and to my supprise this problem stopped.
This bring another problem, I can't figure out how to turn this off and googling it has failed me.
For information I'm running an AMD radeon card on Windows 10.

AND NOW I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!
find the EXE file and go to the properties menu. Find [Disable display scaling on high DPI settings] click it
and that is how you fix this problem

Seriously the support for this problem is amateur. I'm talking to you "Staff". It is obviously a big issue with thousands of users experiencing the same problem.
I shouldn't have to restart Wacom through services every time I open Flash.
Get it together Adobe.
I'm paying for this.

"Get it together Adobe.
I'm paying for this."
I tried to opt out of my second year renewal for the cloud service and was locked into a second year after receiving very specific promises from Adobe. Now that I am forced to pay another year for the creative cloud I am making sure to use the products on daily basis. Now I find a problem that persisted last year has occurred again in the 2015 edition of flash rendering it nearly inoperable on my desktop setup. I'm not paying to be inconvenienced I'm paying for a product I should be able to use on any of the platforms I own seamlessly.
If a problem from July 2014 is the most accurate result for an issue I'm facing in 2016 then there are issues to address.

Have you tried the several workarounds for now?

My current "work around" is to turn everything off and on and reaet all the programs and unplug replug dual monitor until it works. Repeatedly doing this eventually fixes it.

As far as I understand a fix for this and many other drawing issues in Animate (Flash) is coming next year. When? I don't know but hopefully first quarter.

I hope it will be released soon! I've been looking at it online and I'm excited about it. Hopefully it will fix my pen issues. I tried some of the solutions that people have listed but none have worked for me so far.

Hi I just built my own computer and I am having this same problem with the pen and brush tool going crazy. With my old laptop with windows 7, my cintiq 13hd worked fine. Then I plugged it in to the new computer and everything but flash professional is causing me a problem. As a side note because i am not sure if this might also be a problem, but my cintiq is also at the moment a main monitor. There is no 2nd monitor at all at least not until the very near future.
Cintiq 13HD
Windows 10 home 64bit
Cintiq driver 6.3.15-2
Nvidia GTX 980ti
Intel i7 5820k
at 1920 x 1080 Resolution

I am still having the mentioned problem even now, when is this going to get fixed?

This is unreal, where is the customer support on this? Adobe, people spend way too much of their money already on your products to have this kind of persistent problem for 2-3 YEARS. WTF.
Get in this thread and start talking to us immediately.

I just fixed this for my Surface Pro 3 ( Win 10 )
Go to System Settings->Display
Make sure scaling is set to 100% and running on 2160x1440 resolution.
Specifically:
1. Change the size of text, apps, and other items: 100%
2. Click Advanced Display Settings, pick 2160x1440 in the drop down
In Flash CC, magnify the canvas to 200% and you're good to go.
You're welcome...

So I myself fix the problem thanks to you. I cant go above 1920 x 1080 resolution, which is what I have been on. Although you changing the resolution around led me to resolution 1366 x 768. When I applied it and tested out the paint bush tool. IT WORKED. So anyone having this problem, trying changing the resolutions.
Now Adobe, PLEASE!!!!!!! fix the resolutions so i cant work in 1920 x 1080 resolution

I changed the resolution on my Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga to 1600x900 and now it works

FYI - I think this is a Wacom driver issue and not Adobe. Everything works on other tablets, regardless of resolution or scaling. Also, in MangaStudio, this is an issue while using the Wacom tablet, but the solution is to turn of a preference of using tablet coordinates vs. native app coordinates. All of this points to Wacom drivers not properly supporting certain resolutions and/or scaling, so there's not much Adobe can do.

While what you say may be true, people report that the tablets work fine in Photoshop and Illustrator. Could the Flash Pro team do things in the same way that the other Adobe teams do it?

Found this thread when I was experiencing the same problem. I can't believe it's February 2016 and Adobe haven't fixed it.
Oh, wait, it's Adobe, yes actually I can believe it.
My Intuos 4 works in Photoshop, it works in Illustrator, it works in After Effects, but it doesn't work in Flash? That doesn't sound like a driver problem to me. Please Flash Pro people, go look over the shoulder of the photoshop people and copy how they do it.

Got simple solution, No need to change any display-resolution :
Start menu > Wacom Tablet > Wacom Tablet Preference File Utility. then press 'Remove' on my settings.
Its DONE!!
ohh Wait. If you get some "Windows loaders" back,
just go to in the "Wacom Prefrences" > pen> mapping > uncheck "Windows Link".
Hope it will help!

Thanks this actually worked. The only issue I had that I could find what you were talking about until I opened up my settings button on my tablet.
