AIR AS3 "Freeze" during URLLoader load

Hallo! I'm developing a simple APP to send Photo from the CameraUI to a server by PHP script. I don't understand why during the URLLoader load event all the other activities (simple animation and trace code) are freezed. Can you help me to understand why it happens and a possible solution? Thank you!

it's probably not the load event that's causing the freeze.  it's probably the photo processing that you're doing to serialize the photo.

you can chunk that to avoid the problem.

Do this all the time... Typically I will show a thank you screen and do the encoding right after that appears. It locks flash for 5+ seconds depending on your resolution.
