Animate CC versions

Are versions of Animate CC tied to OS?  I have two different OS on a desktop and on a laptop.  And, maybe, as such, two different versions of Animate?

It actually had to do with the OS.  I upgraded my desktop to Majave.  At that point Adobe downloaded the later versions of Animate CC and now I'm running both machines on the same software. Thanks for stepping up everyone!

Most likely it is 32bit vs. 64bit.

Animate CC is 64bit and requires a 64bit OS.

If you happen to run a 32bit OS you will only be able to install Flash CS6, the last 32bit version of the program.

On a 64bit OS you can have both 32bit and 64bit programs.

(All versions of Flash / Animate incl. Macromedia Flash 8, all CS and all CC run well on Windows 10 64bit. Haven't tried earlier than F8 but most likely they will run fine too.)

Hope this answers your question.

Do you mean Mac and Windows or just OS versions like Windows 10 and Windows 8?
