Hey!
The file I export is always corrupt in the sense that the beginning of the animation works up to a specific point when it just freezes. Everytime I reexport or export just the end to make amends for the "missing" part of the video, there's still a random amount of animation that just doesn't render. (I can tell because the file sizes vary even when exporting the exact same thing.) Why?? My settings are all default (it's all German on the image, I'm hoping you can still unterstand 🙈), the canvas is regular UHD. Even when I check the SWF movie, the whole video plays. I've been searching up and down the internet for a solution – can someone help me??
Thank you so much!

If the SWF plays fine It's hard to see how the video won't render properly, likewise with size variations between exact same exports.
Can you upload your .fla file to a server and share it to take a closer look?

Hey Mario!
Thanks for the reply – I unfortunately don't know how to export a .fla – does the SWF and mp4 file suffice (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19vCgl9QlGnUWRIqqRXPdxLRhoCIXTw9I?usp=sharing)? As you can hopefully also see with the mp4-files (two different exports of the same file), at 1:07 and 0:52, the animation freezes. This freezing phenonema is the same at other times in other exports of the same or similar animations.
Also, when I import the mp4 into Davinci Resolve, the frozen part of the animation clip (but sometimes the whole clip – it just all seems weird) is marked as "media offline". But swf seems fine!
I can't wait for your response :).

in animate, when you click save, you're probably saving a fla.

Oh right – so stupid 😂, thanks! I added the fla to the cloud.

you'll need to communicate a link if you want to share it.

The link is the one I pasted in the upper response: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19vCgl9QlGnUWRIqqRXPdxLRhoCIXTw9I?usp=sharing

do you see anything on-stage (other than the black, background) during, for example, the first 13 seconds of your fla?

Oh, correct – I forgot to mention: The first 13 seconds are meant to be black. That is intentional, sorry for the confusion.

are the other (1-2 second) blank sections intentional, too?

Yes, those are intentional. It is meant to be the animation of a character over film. I'm sorry, I should have specified. The only problem is the freezing of the character towards the end.

and i can't detect a problem. do you, https://www.kglad.com/Files/forums/S4_1.avi

How am I supposed to open the file? My computer opens the .avi in QuickTime and gives me an audio...

Do you see the freezing though?

no problem that i see.
use a video player to play it

Funny, I checked now too – when I upload the video to the Google Drive, the video stops at the moment it would freeze. The video is just shortened. You see how S4.2 and S4 is different in length? Even though I exported the same thing?

i don't see a problem with the video i published and uploaded.

i understand what you mean. the problem is your computer or something you're doing. ie, it's not your fla.
i just don't know more than that.

I don't see any issues on my end either. Nothing on the fla, swf, or video that I can tell.
Try switching to Software Rendering in Media Encoder just in case it has something to do with your graphics card.
