Hi Everyone,
I'm doing some animation with the asset wrap tool. I noticed it creates a kind of a symbol "wrappedasset_01" etc., but it does not appear in the library.
Any way to rename it?
The problem is that I'm doing several animation on different files and then combining them. since the wrap tool creates for each one the same "name" when I copy they overwrite each other.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Oded
you can try creating movieclips of your animation and move those movieclips to the new projects library.
you can try copying layers and pasting into a layer of your new project.

tick 'place duplicate items in a different folder'.

That's what I did - but it still creates problems.
Any idea if I can see the wrapped assets in the library so I can rename them?
Thanks,
Oded

no, you can't rename.
what problems?

When I try manipulating keyframes on the character I added to the project (by copying the symbol and putting duplicates in a different folder) the wrapped assets disappear on some keyframes (and some not). Some of them switch to the original wrapped assets of the file.
Really strange stuff...

Thanks - I'm finding workarounds for this problem - it's just seems like a stupid problem that can easily fixed.
But most of my work with Flash in the past 15 years was like this - finding workarounds for stupid bugs...
