Hii,

I created a basic character with line tools then I made it a symbol for later use. but when I break apart the  character in the main stage so that I can animate it with audio, the line width becoming smaller. Please help me what to do as im new to animation. I want to animate the character with audio, also if im animating inside the symbol, then the line will size will remain same but the audio will not export.

please tell me what to do, how should I animate with audio/ line tool, what is the right process to do.

Copy the audio layer(s) inside the symbol to use as preview and keep it also on the main timeline for final export.

In digital cutout animation, the same audio is usually put in at least 3 places: the main timeline for export, the animation timeline (let's call it 'main container'), and inside the character's head for lipsync.

The head and the container are run in sync with the main timeline.

Working directly on the main timeline is considered very bad practice.

Even if you animate frame-by-frame, you should always do it at least one level deep. Putting all your animation inside at least one container gives you the option to quickly re-scale, re-compose or edit.

How to organize your FLA is a matter of preference, experience and needs.

Here is a video which demonstrates the use of synced timelines for lipsync:

Good luck!
