Cannot do a classic tween

So whenever I try to make a classic tween, I want it to start on one frame, and then move to the last one. So I have my layers in a classic tween and when I play, the layers just move in different direction instead of going to the point I want it to go to.

Don't move the Transformation Point in the second keyframe of your tween.

To snap it back over the Registration Point, double-click on it with the Free Transform tool.

this "So I have my layers in a classic tween and when I play, the layers just move in different direction instead of going to the point I want it to go to" doesn't make sense.

did you mean to state, i have a classic tween in a layer and when i play there's no tweening visible. from the initial frame the object remains with its initial properties until the last frame when it jumps to the final properties?

Yeah something along the lines of that, sorry I didn't make it clear enough. It was basically like I have an object at point a and I want it to move to point b. So I do all the stuff and when I make a tween, it just goes off the path before jumping to point b.

sounds like you are using a tween with a motion path, and its not following the path you created?

If that is the case you have to make sure both keyframes have symbols and that the symbols are snapped on to the guide on both keyframes. Sharing a screenshot may help you get help.
